FC Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league over two years after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities.
Recent Activities
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. The club said they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side next month at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
