The First Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Reveal Xbox Is Still Fighting.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the death bells for Microsoft's gaming division. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a platform few have heard of. Xbox fan sites have started writing on PS5 topics as a new development. 2025 was complete chaos for the tech giant's gaming arm. However, judging purely by the titles headed to the service in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company continues to plan to engage players with strong games on its key platform.

The Current Inclusions

The two games you can play right now today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass soon that's worth getting excited about.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

Starting January 13th, Game Pass will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "an ideal blend of terror and combat."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

However, the more modest titles arriving shortly on the service are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite offering thrilling gameplay, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year may draw you in within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Well-Rounded Collection

In summary, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, and they don't represent tentpole Microsoft studios games that are the sole reason for the service alone. But Microsoft's additions here are rock solid. The lineup provides a solid mix of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that lacked the recognition they warranted upon launch — rendering them excellent choices to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
