The Music Icon Embraces a Twisted Persona of Herself in Mockumentary Teaser
Charli XCX is getting ready for a substantial film appearance in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, she portrays what she calls as a dark version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli stated.
She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea originated from the demand to make one.
A Sneak Peek into The Project
The debut trailer, launched on recently, mixes real clips from her recent tour with made-up off-stage interactions.
The film is overseen and co-authored by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot focuses on a world where Charli took completely different paths throughout the publicity of her smash hit album Brat.

The mockumentary is just one of many upcoming movie projects for the star, who recently starred in three festival films this year.

Additionally, she agreed to star in the actress’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Musical Contributions
The month of February will also include the release of the filmmaker’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include fresh tracks from Charli.
She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch next year.
The film is scheduled to debut on 30 January.
